if i got the nx300 would it be the same installing process as the nx400?
Answer: From what I have viewed the install of the components in the nx300 is the same as the nx400.

Can the rgb be controlled with the motherboard?
Answer: yes, it can.

Can i use this with b460m mother board? enough space in it?
Answer: I don??t see why not my son is running his b450m in it with a 1680 with plenty of room. The only issue I take with the case is where the 3.5 drives mount 2 in a very small area so I hope you??re good with wiring an patience.

What cables from the case have to be connected to what headers on the motherboard to get the leds to light? none of ours are working.
Answer:

This is my son??s case actually. You don??t connect any cables to the motherboard you have to connect the cables on the back side of the motherboard plate in a proper series for them with the fans to work properly with the mole that??s prewired. If you did unwire all that then your going to have to go back though each one??
